Katie West received her Master’s of Clinical Social Work from the University of Hawaii in 2005 and became licensed in the state of Washington as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in 2011. She has provided mental health and social work services in a variety of settings including health clinics, schools, housing projects and a residential crisis center. Katie has received extensive training in heart-centered hypnotherapy, mindfulness based stress reduction techniques and she is a certified yoga instructor.

Katie currently provides psychotherapy services for West Therapy. She utilizes a holistic approach, helping clients explore their mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual health concerns and resources. Katie has a passion for helping people connect with the wise voice within that knows how to proceed, how to heal and how to access inner-peace, compassion and joy. She enjoys camping, crochet and music time with her family.

Katie is currently accepting new clients on a limited basis. She is a preferred provider for Premera, Regence, First Choice, Medicare, Kaiser, Optum/United, Aetna, Cigna and multiple EAP companies.
